ABOUT
I am an assistant professor at the College of Software, Beihang University (BUAA), China. My research interests span information visualization, human computer interaction, and data analysis. I explore these general research questions: how to design visualization to offer better communication and interaction; how to combine visualization with computational powers to solve complex real-life problems.
Prior to Beihang, I worked with Dr. Tamara Munzner at the University of British Columbia (UBC) and Dr. Xiaoru Yuan at Peking University (PKU). I received my Ph.D degree from UBC and Bachelor's degree from PKU.
I am looking for highly-motivated students to work with me. Email me if you are interested.
